Ronald "Ron" G. Lynn

Ronald "Ron" G. Lynn, 80, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at AdventHealth, Sebring, FL.

Ron was born in Meadville, on March 6, 1941, a son of the late Clarence "CJ" and Madge (Armour) Lynn.

On June 15, 1962 Ron married Geraldine "Gerry" K. Williams; she survives.

He was a member of United Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer, Meadville.

In 2006 Ron retired from Kuhn Tool after 44 years of service. He had previously been employed by Starn Tool and Allegheny Tool. He was a 1959 graduate of Meadville High School. A lifetime member of Vernon Central Hose Company, he was also a longtime member of Vernon Central Fire Department where he served as Assistant Chief for two years. In his younger years, Ron was a member of various bowling and golf leagues. He enjoyed canoeing, camping, woodworking, volunteering at the Meadville Airport and taking his camper to Florida, where he and Gerry enjoyed spending their retirement winters. Ron was blessed to have 59 wonderful years of marriage to his wife and best friend. What Ron enjoyed most in life was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife, Gerry, Ron is survived by a daughter Kristi Heilman (John) of Cambridge Springs; a son Robert Lynn (Lori) of Meadville; six grandchildren Jennifer Feltenberger (boyfriend Adam Priestes), Trevor Feltenberger (fiance' Jamie Landers), Katie Lynn, Jerad Heilman (Alex), Lacey Prater (Gerald), Tiffany Stainbrook (Kent); four great grandchildren Zoey, Landon, Lincoln, Presley; two step grandsons Jaden, Isaiah; a sister Linda Lewis of Cleveland, OH; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard C. Lynn and Bill Lynn.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., where Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday with Lisa Grant, Pastor of Edinboro United Methodist Church, officiating. Ron will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Twp.
