Rose A. Dunn

Rose A. Dunn, 81, of 155 Walnut St., Meadville, passed away Monday, June 6th, 2011, at Meadville Medical Center.
Rose was born in Grove City, on December 1, 1929, a daughter of the late George and Arvey 'Frances' (Sarkesian) Atamian.
On September 24, 1949, Rose married Harland 'Stub' S. Dunn; he preceded her in death on September 28, 2003.
She was an active member of Christ Church Episcopal, Meadville, where she volunteered her time assembling the monthly newsletters.
After 37 years of service Rose retired in April, 1985 from the former Avtex Corp., which was formerly known as American Viscos and F.M.C. Corp., where she had been employed as a cutter in the Processing Dept. Following her retirement she was employed by the Meadville Tribune where she worked placing inserts in the daily newspaper. She had also worked at T.J.s Pizza. In her earlier years she had been employed by the former Texas Lunch. Rose loved all of her family deeply, especially her grandson Steven.
Rose is survived by a daughter Linda Dunn of Meadville, a grandson Steven Hunter, a son-in-law Paul Hunter both of Saegertown, a sister Frances Hatchigian and her husband George of Niagara Falls, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband Stub of 54 years, Rose was preceded in death by a daughter Frances Hunter, three brothers Archie Atamian, Mike Atamian and Hugh 'John' Atamian.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
Funeral Services will be held at Christ Church Episcopal, Meadville, 870 Diamond Square, Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 10th, with Dr. Rev. Richard Elberfeld, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
