Rose Anne Alexatos, 92, of Meadville, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at home.
Rose Anne was born in Meadville, on February 6, 1929, a daughter of the late Bernard and Irene (Hogue) McCaffrey.
On October 1, 1950, Rose Ann married Denis "Ed" Alexatos; he survives.
Rose Anne was accomplished, successful and passionate in all her endeavors. She was a driving force in a self-run family business, along with her husband, Ed, of seventy years. She obtained her private pilot's license and along with her husband, flew across the US. She loved the ocean and spent many summers entertaining guests at the "Beach House". Passionate about family, she was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It is impossible to list all of her accomplishments over the span of 92 years, but she was absolutely the most loving friend, mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed and lived life as full as anyone could and she loved with all her heart. The kindness and beauty of her soul will be with all who knew her. She will forever be lovingly remembered. She may be silent, but she is truly singing from the heavens.
In addition to her husband, Ed, Rose Anne is survived by a daughter Diane Tracy; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters Mary Ellen and Kathleen.
In addition to her parents, Rose Ann was preceded in death by two children Athena Alexatos, Scott Alexatos; a great grandchild Annika Vanderhoof; three siblings Sara Jane, Bill and Jack.
Private services were held.
Rose Anne was laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
