Roy Edward Kramer, 90, of Saegertown, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Crawford County Care Center.

Roy was born at home in Cochranton, on December 4, 1928, a son of the late Frank and Millie (Ketcham) Kramer.

On June 30, 1962 Roy married Wilma Jean Heald; she survives.

He was a member of Saegertown United Methodist Church.

In 1990 Roy retired after more than 40 years of service with Erie Railroad and Conrail. He worked as both a Conductor and Brakeman. He was a US Veteran and attended Cochranton Schools. Roy was a member of Elks BPO #219, Meadville Eagles, the former Meadville Club, West Mead #2 Fire Hall, American Legion Post 205, VFW Post #2006 and the Italian Civic Club (ICC). A Past Master and member of Meadville Masonic Lodge #234, he was also a member of Valley of Erie Consistory-Scottish Rite, Zem-Zem Shrine, Crawford County Shrine Club, Crawford County Motor Patrol and Kismet Grotto where he had served as Past Monarch. His hobbies included golfing as well as bowling, having been a member of several leagues. At the age of 74 he bowled a perfect 300 game.

In addition to his wife Wilma of 56 years, Roy is survived by two daughters Denise Dayton (Ben) of Meadville, Melanie Delle Curti (JR) of Erie, five grandchildren Ashley Kramer, Aaron Dayton, Vincent Delle Curti, Victoria Delle Curti, Dominic Delle Curti, five great grandchildren Rama, Durga, Lotus, Jaya, Sophia, a sister Cleo Deeter of Cooperstown, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by an infant son in 1968, two sisters Janet DeWalt, Belva Neason, two brothers Wallace Kramer and Walter Kramer.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 3-7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Masonic Service will take place at 5:30 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2018, with Pastor Jeff Little of Saegertown United Methodist Church officiating.

Roy will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #836.
