Sam S. Randazzo

Sam S. Randazzo, 95, of 1120 Market St., Apt. 606, Meadville, passed away Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie.
Sam was born in Pittsburgh on August 4, 1915, a son of the late James and Virginia (Russi) Randazzo.
In March 1946, Sam married Theresa Gray; she preceded him in death on May 24, 1996.
He was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, Meadville, where he had served as an usher.
Sam had been employed by PennDOT and by the former Sandalinis Restaurant as a doorman. A veteran of the US Army, Sam served his country honorably during World War II. He was a member of the Italian Civic Club (ICC), the Eagles Club, the VFW and Conneaut Lake Station #5.
Sam is survived by a brother Reggio Randazzo of Boston, MA, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife Theresa of 50 years, Sam was preceded in death by three brothers Joseph, Frank, James, three sisters Jane, Virginia and Dorothy.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 3-8 at Stephen P Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a scripture service will be conducted at 3:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, April 6th, 2011, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
