Sean Christian Compere

Sean Christian Compere was a beautiful soul and a loving brother, son, and friend to many. He passed away at Meadville Medical Center, unexpectedly on April 16, 2021, at the age of 33.

Sean and his twin brother, Calvin, were born in Newark, NJ, on April 13, 1988 to Carole Jasmin and Alain Compere.

In his earlier years, Sean resided in Erie and moved to Crawford County at the age of nine. Sean lived with Laurie Hershelman and family for many years and was loved dearly by them. In 2010 Sean became a part of the family of Desiree and Don Ledrick and was loved beyond measure by everyone that knew him. Sean had many good friends through Touch-Stone Solutions, Inc. and in his daily exploration of the Meadville Community. Clayton Smith was one of his best friends that brought so much joy, happiness and opportunity into Sean's world; they were quite a pair! Sean was also such an important part of the Supports, Inc. family where he was supported and loved by everyone in the agency since childhood. Sean was loved dearly as a son by Don Ledrick and his late wife, Desiree, who cared for him in their home for the past 11 years. Sean was also well supported and cared for by Suzanne Mudger at Supports, Inc. and Lois Galbo, at Crawford County Human Services. He had a smile that always made your day better and his love was without conditions or end, something he freely gave to anyone who was graced to be in his presence. He will be dearly missed by so many on Earth but we know he has been greeted in Heaven by his dear friends Desiree, Connie, and Zachary. We will miss him so.

Family and friends are invited to call from 3-5 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 5 PM. CDC guidelines will be followed.
