Shirley A. Parks

Shirley A. Parks, 91, a resident of The Village Lutheran Square, Erie, passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side, on Thursday, February 22, 2018.

Shirley was born in Meadville, on April 25, 1926, a daughter of the late William and Selma (Eckert) Parks.

She was the former wife of Michael Yocina who preceded her in death.

Shirley graduated from Meadville High School in 1944. She was a member of Stone Methodist Church and attended Park Congregational Church. She was an organist and soloist in various churches. From 1970-1982 Shirley was employed as Executive Director of Associated Charities.

Shirley is survived by two sons Michael Yocina, Scott Yocina both of Corfu, NY, two grandchildren Kyle Yocina of Blasdell, NY, Adrienne Yocina of Corfu, NY, and a lifetime friend Jim Anders.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 12-2 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Sarah Roncolato officiating.

Shirley will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
