Shirley Irene "Myers" Davis

Shirley Irene Davis “Myers”, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Penn Highlands - Clearfield Hospital from heart failure.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Dena (Davis) and Andrew Washburn of Coopersburg, PA and stepsister Paula (Bish) and Dennis Krysinski of Pittsburgh, PA.

Born, in Clearfield, PA on May 6, 1941, to Hazel D. (Davis) and husband Walter F. Grezlak, Shirley was adopted by her maternal grandparents, Clara (Shuster) and William Davis also of Clearfield.

Shirley graduated from Clearfield School of Nursing and briefly worked at Clearfield Hospital.

Her seven adopted brothers and sisters preceded her in death as well as her daughter to David Myers, Sandra Lynn Myers.

Shirley will be laid to rest alongside David Myers – the love of her life – at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery, Meadville, PA.

The family extends gratitude for Shirley’s care and support from Donald Myers, Columbus, NC, brother to David, and the entire staff of the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home in Clearfield, PA.

A Celebration of Life will be later this year. Those wishing to attend please contact Dena Davis Washburn (daughter) or Ella Jane Blake (beloved relative).
