Solomon Kircher, 30, of Ft. Lauderdale FL, passed away on October 21st, 2021, peacefully at home after losing his battle with addiction.

Solomon “Sol” was born on December 8th, 1990, to Kristina (Kircher) Kozlowsky (and Haroon Mahmood) in Pittsburgh, PA.

His mother relocated him to Meadville, PA in 2002, where he graduated from Meadville High School. While attending, he was a member of the Choir and Theater. Solomon was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Sol had recently been a Student at Broward College where he was working towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Additionally, he was very active in AA with a sponsor, as a member and speaker inspiring others for strength and courage.

Sol was known for having a zest for life, love of laughter and adventure, affection for animals, and deep love for his family. He enjoyed running, exercising, skiing, and all the city life had to offer.

In passing Sol is survived by his parents John and Kristina Kozlowsky of Meadville, PA., twin brother Sammy Kircher (and fiancée Brynne Hazard) of Denver Co., brother John Kozlowsky of Meadville, PA., grandparents Donald and Barbara Kircher of Meadville, PA., grandmother Joan Kozlowsky of Conneaut Lake, PA. Additional family members include Michael and Diana Hotchkiss, Megan (Hotchkiss) Allen, and spouse Patrick, Timothy Hotchkiss, Sherry Kircher, Eileen Kircher, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 9-11 AM, on Friday, October 29, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Catholic celebration of life (memorial service) will follow at 11 AM with Fr. Mark Hoffman officiating. For those not able to attend, the Service will be livestreamed via facebook live at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.

Sol will be laid to rest in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. James Haven, 779 N. Main St., Meadville, PA 16335, to help those others battling addiction.
