Stephen Charles Nageotte of Saegertown, fell asleep in death in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from complications of Parkinson’s disease.
He was born in Meadville on December 24, 1941, to the late Alvin and Virginia (Smith) Nageotte.
He was the younger of two children. Stephen graduated from Saegertown High School in 1960.
He married Joan Flick, his childhood sweetheart, on August 31, 1963. They had two children, Troy and Stephanie. He diligently cared for the physical and spiritual needs of his family. He was a tool and mold maker for nearly 50 years. He was a personable, kind, and generous man. He loved the outdoors, gardening, and people, but his devotion was to his heavenly Father, Jehovah. He enjoyed the privilege of serving the Meadville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for decades. Despite limitations, his desire was to actively worship Jehovah God up to the very end of his life. He now awaits a resurrection to life in a paradise earth, free of sickness and strife. – Revelation 21:3, 4.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Joan, his children and their mates, Troy and Erin Nageotte and Stephanie and Brad Crecraft, his sister Barbara Swavey, his sisters-in-law Betty Cannon and Marcia Flick, and a loving congregation of spiritual brothers and sisters.
A public memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 15315 Harmonsburg Rd, Meadville, on August 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
