Theresa 'Terri' Orlowski Jordan Crytzer, 76, of 19877 Meadowland Dr., Meadville, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at home.
Terri was born in Erie on July 10, 1934, a daughter of the late Raymond and Sophia (Grabinski) Orlowski.
On July 16, 1956 Terri married John E. Jordan; he preceded her in death on April 12, 1972. She subsequently married John H. Crytzer on September 17, 1977; he preceded her in death on February 6, 2007.
She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
In 1968 Terri and her family moved to Meadville from Erie. Terri retired from the Plaza Lottery Store. Over the years she had also been employed by the former Green Stamp Store, the former Krogers, the former Meadville County Market and Signature Florals, all of Meadville. She was a member of the Golden Crown Chapter #44, former member and past president of Womens Auxiliary of BPO Elks #219. A people person, Terri loved working with the public and also loved flower gardening. She was well known for decorating her home inside and out for every occasion and in 2009 her home appeared on the front page of the Meadville Tribune for her Easter decorations. Terri took great pride in making decorating special for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as they were her passion.
Terri is survived by four children Douglas Jordan and his wife Christine of Conneautville, Kimberly Bruce and her husband Mark of Guys Mills, Rebecca Holeva and her husband John of Guys Mills, Jeff Jordan of Wisconsin; her extended family Dianne Edge and her husband Raymond of Meadville, Tom Crytzer and his wife Judy of Conneautville, Robert Crytzer and his wife Julie of Meadville, Jill Hughes and her husband Mark of Saegertown; 17 grandchildren John Jordan and his wife Joy, Allison (Jordan) Hlopick and her husband Steve, Stephanie (Bruce) Tristan and her husband Esteban, Rachael (Bruce) Fitzgerald and her husband Craig, Matthew Bruce and his wife Addie, Kenneth Holeva and his wife Heidi, John Christopher Holeva, Thomas Holeva, Heather (Edge) and her husband Jay, Patrick Edge, Travis Crytzer, Jeremy Crytzer, Sequoia Crytzer, Sara Crytzer, Kurt Crytzer, Jaime Fattler and her husband Brian, Adrienne Doubet and her husband Shad; her true passion, her 19 great grandchildren Garrick, Gabriel and Graclyn Jordan, James Hlopick, Joaquin, Elias and Mateo Tristan, Tyler Ausmus, Aidan Fitzgerald, Nora Bruce, Gavin, Emily and Jorja Holeva, Ryan Handlow, Logan and Kaitlyn Fattler, Jadis, Summer and Baby Doubet; a sister Regina Rutkowski and her husband Edward, two sisters-in-law Margaret Orlowski, Therese Ann Larson, a brother-in-law Richard Crytzer, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husbands John Jordan and John (Jack) Crytzer, Terri was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Orlowski, brother-in-law Raymond Larson and a nephew Rulf Crytzer.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335 where a scripture service will be conducted at 8:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 20, 2010, at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville, with Fr. Mark OHern, Pastor of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
