Theresa "Terri" Troske

Theresa "Terri" Troske, 69, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Terri was born in Waterbury, CT on December 30, 1954, a daughter of the late Anthony and Lucie (Cicchetti) Cilfone.

On September 1, 1978 Terri married Lee Troske; he survives. 

Following her graduation from Waterbury Catholic High School, Terri attended the University of Connecticut before graduating from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Additionally, she graduated from Penn State University earning her Nursing Home Administrator Certification. She served as Administrator at Cordia Commons, now known as Juniper Village, in Meadville as well as St. Paul's Home in Greenville. She previously worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. An avid animal lover, Terri found great joy in volunteering with Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in Ramah, NM, where she cared for rescue wolves. Terri and her husband spent the last eight years traveling throughout the U.S. in their RV exploring the countryside. 

In addition to her husband, Lee, of 46 years, Terri is survived by five children Lauren Troske of Watertown, CT, Valerie Jackson of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Bryan Smith (wife Courtney) of Danville, VT, Danny Troske (life partner Nikki Bittinger) of Souix Falls, SD, Allen Troske of Cambridge Springs; six grandchildren; and a sister Donna Maneca of Torrington, CT.

In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Cilfone.

Per Terri's wishes, private services will be held with her cousin, Fr. Andrew Santamauro, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Terri's memory to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
