Therese Boyle (“Terry”) Schroeckenstein
Our beloved Terry, 71, of 10785 Konneyaut Trail, Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania unexpectedly left this world and crossed the Great Divide on December 28, 2018 at her vacation home in Palm Desert, California.
Born on October 4, 1947, she was the third (of five) daughters of Paul W. and Rose Eileen (Brennan) Boyle of the Point Breeze area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Terry was a graduate of Ursuline Academy of Pittsburgh and furthered her education by graduating from Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio, majoring in Economics.
Terry worked for the former Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania for approximately 15 years. At the time of her retirement, she was the National Accounts Representative in the Steel Accounts Section of Blue Cross.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, Conneaut Lake.
Terry is survived by Dr. Richard F. Schroeckenstein, her husband of 27 years. Also surviving are her two stepsons and their wives: Alex Schroeckenstein (Tami) of Billings, Montana and Max Schroeckenstein (Cassie) of Kalispell, Montana. She has two step-grandchildren, Kenna and Karson Schroeckenstein, both of Billings, Montana. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters: Eileen Hennessey (Pat) of San Diego, California; Janet Kelley (the late Fred) of Huntington, New York; Mary Hunter (the late Dave) of San Diego, California; and, Karen Boyle of San Diego, California. Also surviving is her brother-in-law Dr. David C. Schroeckenstein (Christine) of Phoenix, Arizona. Multiple cousins, nieces and nephews, along with their children, mourn her loss, as well.
Following private family time, family and friends are invited to call from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA on Saturday, January 19, 2019, where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM to celebrate Terry's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of NW PA, 1128 State Street, Suite 301, Erie, PA 16501 or Wesbury United Methodist Community Foundation, 31 Park Avenue, Meadville, PA 16335.
