Thomas L. Guthrie

Thomas L. Guthrie, 78, of 24003 State Hwy. 27 Meadville, PA, passed away Monday, April 20th, at Park Avenue Rehab. & Nursing Center, Meadville.

Thomas was born in Wilkinsburg, on June 28, 1936, a son of the late Thomas L. and Mary (Mackay) Guthrie.

For many years Thomas was a self employed semi truck driver and also drove truck for various companies. He was a 1955 graduate of North Huntingdon High School in Irwin. He enjoyed looking after his dog and best buddy, Buddy.

Thomas is survived by four children Leslie A. McGowan and her husband Thomas, Lorrie J. Guthrie, Neil J. Guthrie, all of Meadville, Patricia Holcomb of Conneaut Lake, eight grandchildren Michael, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Carmen, Joel, Mark, Carly, Daniel, eight great grandchildren Valerie, Brayden, Mackenzie, Mason, Jase, Gavin, Connor, Gabrial and a sister Nancy Rockefellow of Guys Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
