Timothy Patrick Crampton

Timothy Patrick Crampton, 70, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center.

Tim was born in Ionia, MI, on April 5, 1952, a son of the late Gordon and Myra Louise (Studley) Crampton.

On May 2, 2022, Tim married Madeleine Linz Bellucci; she survives.

A Vietnam veteran, Tim enlisted in the US Army on April 24, 1969 and served his country honorably until his discharge December 6, 1971. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Air Medal and several Badges. For many years he was a bank consultant in the private sector and for the government. He was active with the Meadville Memorial Day Committee. He enjoyed staying busy by playing pool, spending time on his pontoon boat, fishing,attending antique shows, working on antique tractors and tinkering in his yard. He loved his cat, Cali.

In addition to his wife Madeleine, Tim is survived by a son Gordon M. Crampton (Amy) and their children Sarah, Aaron, Helen of Alba, TX; two sisters Gail Beardsly, Linda Crampton and her daughter Melody Fish, all of MI.

Visitation is 4-7 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006 will follow.

Tim will be laid to rest in Palo Cemetery, Fenwick, MI.
