Tyler Joe Nelson Thomas

Tyler Joe Nelson Thomas, 18, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at home.

Tyler Joe was born in Meadville, on February 25, 2005, a son of Joseph F. and Wendy G. (Cline) Thomas.

He attended Carmel Baptist Church. Tyler loved being outdoors riding his dirt bike and four wheeler as well as hunting and shooting. He enjoyed all types of music including rock and roll, heavy metal and rap and liked playing his music on his guitar. He also enjoyed being at home with his friends and looked forward to sharing the big breakfasts his dad cooked for them. He loved his family and will be sadly missed.

Tyler is survived by his father Joseph F. Thomas of Meadville; his mother Wendy G. Stocker (Robert) of Wagoner, OK; two sisters Crystal Thomas of Meadville, Brittany Thomas of Fredericksburg, VA; two brothers Brandon Ryder of Killeen, TX, Joseph Thomas of Fredericksburg, VA; and paternal grandmother Kathy Ryder of Wheeling, WV.

Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Joby N. Thomas, maternal grandparents Janet Stanley and Richard Cline.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday May 18, 2023, from 5-7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 AM with Pastor Kenneth Jackson of Carmel Baptist Church officiating.

Tyler will be laid to rest in Gravel Run Cemetery.
