USMC Sgt. Brandon Joseph Bizzarro, 22, of 355 Canyonside Way, Apt. 236, Oceanside, CA, formerly of the Meadville and Saegertown areas, passed away Thursday, August 28th, 2014 at Scripps La Jolla Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, CA, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.

USMC Sgt. Brandon was born in Meadville, on May 22, 1992, a son of Joe B. Bizzarro and Laura S. McKain.

Brandon enlisted in the US Marine Corps on January 24, 2011 and attend recruit training at 1st Recruit Training Battalion Parris Island, SC. In April 2011, he reported to the School of Infantry, Camp Geiger, NC. Upon completion of Marine Combat Training in June 2011, he reported to US Army Signal Training Center in Fort Gordon, GA for Basic Operational Communicator School. In October 2011, he attended Satellite Communications Operators Course and a month later received orders to 9th Communication Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA as a Communications Satellite Operator. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2014. Sgt. Bizzarros awards include the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

Brandon was a 2010 graduate of Meadville High School where he was a devoted member of the Bulldog Hockey Team. While in school, he worked part time at Meadville Giant Eagle. He was a former member of the Sinland Marine Biker Club. Brandon loved life and spending time on the beach, his Ford Mustang, working out and riding his motor cycle, Carmen.

Sgt. Bizzarro is survived by his wife Tamara of CA, his mother Laura S. McKain of Saegertown, his father Joe B. Bizzarro of Saegertown, his brother Justin Newhard of the US Air force and his wife Jessica of Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE, maternal grandmother Marjorie McKain of Saegertown, maternal uncle and aunt Tim McKain and his wife Peggy of Meadville, paternal uncle and aunt John Bizzarro and his wife Brenda of Meadville, four cousins Mitch McKain of Meadville, Jimmy Malliard of SC, Thor Bizzarro of Meadville, Tyler Bizzarro both of Meadville, and his beloved German shepherd Kane.

Sgt. Bizzarro was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Larry L. McKain, paternal grandfather Albert Bizzarro and his maternal grandmother Rexina Anderson.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 6, from 10-12:45 at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville, where Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Temple Jarrell officiating.
