Vickie Lynn Mcelhaney

Vicki Lynn (Bair) McElhaney, 63, of Meadville passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at West Penn Hospital.

Vicki, known to many as Hobbit, was born in Meadville on October 12, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Janet (Golenburke) Bair Sr. and the wife of the king, Rick Crady.

Vicki was a graduate of Linesville high school and for more than 20 year, before retiring, she devoted her life as a certified nursing assistant at the former Mead Home ( Beverly Health Care ). Additionally she was a loving foster parent for several years. She enjoyed traveling with her family, doing arts and crafts with her children, and above all she loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Rick, she was survived by six children. Brent Crady and Ginny Zanza of New Castle, Molly McElhaney of Meadville, Amy and Dan Thomas of Cochranton, Brad and Stephanie Crady of Georgetown, Courtney Massey and Chris Walker of Meadville, Carri Daniels and Jason Kiser also of Meadville; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene Williams of Bowman, SC and Daphne Bauer (Dave) of Jamestown; two brothers, Kenneth Bair Jr. (Cathy) and Jefferey Bair both of Hialeah, FL; and then nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by a sister Deborah Bair and a brother Michael Bair.

Family and Friends are invited to call on Friday, October 23, 2020, from 2-4 and 7-9 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE. CDC guidelines will be followed.

Memorials contributions can be made in Vicki's memory, for cancer research, to St. Jude Children's hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
