Mrs. Vinnie A. Walk, 94, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

Vinnie was born in Meadville on July 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lena (Giaccone) Aiola.

On September 10, 1949 Vinnie married Edward L. Walk; he preceded her in death on August 21, 2013, after 63 years of marriage.

Vinnie was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society.

In July, 1988 Vinnie retired from the Meadville Area Federal Credit Union where she had been employed as office manager for 24 years.

Vinnie is survived by two sons Fr. Edward Walk of Dubois, Thomas Walk and his wife Connie of Meadville, two grandchildren Michelle Laussen and her husband Jonathon of Evanston, IL, Dr. Thomas Joseph Walk of Pittsburgh, several nieces and nephews.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville, at a date to be announced.

Vinnie will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Brigid Cemetery.
