Vivian E. Devore

Vivian E. Devore, 82, of 6100 Route 88, Findleyville, passed away Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at Washington Hospital, Allegheny County.
Vivian was born in Meadville on September 8, 1929, a daughter of the late Jack and Iris (Carter) Sherred.
On August 10, 1951 Vivian married Kenneth E. Devore; he preceded her in death on December 18, 1987.
Following 18 years of service, Vivian retired in 1992 from Penncrest School District where she had worked in the Saegertown High School cafeteria. She had previously been employed by the former Saegertown Components. She was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School. Vivian was an avid, lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed reading.
Vivian is survived by a son Kenneth J. Devore and his wife Diana of Eighty Four, two granddaughters Beth Devore, Lindsey Devore, a grandson Ben Devore, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband Kenneth of 36 years, Vivian was preceded in death by a brother Jim Sherred.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery.
