After graduating from Hamilton High School in Los Angeles, CA, he entered the US Air Force and worked as an Early Warning Operator. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving time in Japan and at Hamilton Air Force Base just north of San Francisco. In high school he excelled in baseball and traveled around the western states playing for the Air Force. Warren and Janice married just before his discharge and they moved to southern California. He was a member of The American Institute of Building Design. After many years as a building designer, he returned to college to pursue a career in business. He became a general manager for branch operations with Terminix International in Salinas, Fresno and Sacramento, CA, Portland, OR, and Seattle, WA. After 18 years he and Janice retired to the countryside of Cambridge Springs.

His passion was Christian music, appearing as a soloist in churches around Cambridge Springs, Lake Oswego, OR and Fresno, CA, and most recently the Christ Evangelical Free Church of Saegertown. While there he was a member, elder and board vice chairman. He was instrumental in forming the mens ministry group known as STORM. He has also appeared in community theater productions.

He was very proud of his friends at Cambridge Springs Senior Center where he was on the Senior Center Council and the Active Aging Advisory Board of Crawford County.
