In Loving Memory of William "Bill" Edward Brewton

William "Bill" Edward Brewton, 80, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

William was born in Meadville, on July 26, 1944, a son of the late Ora and Anna Mae (Barnes) Brewton.

Bill was a graduate of Meadville High School and worked as a Tool and Die Inspector and Health and Safety Trainer for General Motors until his retirement. He also served as a minister at United Faith Fellowship Church of God. He had an unwavering love for his family, enjoyed working outside, and was an avid pool player where over the years, he was a league captain and a member of three different leagues, having participated in local, state, and national playoffs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Ora Annette Elliot, Christine Deborah James and Jennie Elizabeth Dobbs.

Bill is survived by his wife, Rebecca; two sons Derek Brewton of Flint, MI, Jason Brewton (Jen) of Pittsburgh; a daughter by marriage, Natoscha Rucker of Acworth, GA; two sisters Arlene Patricia Jenkins and Theresa Brewton Lyons; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held.
