William Mosley, Jr.

William Mosley, Jr., 70, of 10950 Liberty St. Ext., Meadville, passed away Sunday, May 13th, 2012 at home.
William was born in Canton, MS on December 10, 1941, a son of the late Eleanor (Bass) Mosley and William Mosley, Sr..
Over the years William had worked as a semi truck driver for several firms including Cooper-Jared, Food Line, J.B. Hunt and Clair Ferry. He had also been a self employed semi truck driver. A US veteran, William entered the US Army on July 31, 1961 and served until his honorable discharge on July 15, 1964. He was a 1960 graduate of Meadville High School. William was a member of the American Legion Post #111, and a former member of VFW Post #2006.
William is survived by three sisters Dolores M. Mosley of Lomita, CA, Carol A. Mosley of Meadville, Debra Jane Mosley of Erie, two brothers Allen Mosley of Meadville, Larry Mosley and his wife Janet of Meadville, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by two sisters Helen Lawrence, Susan Lynn Mosley-Brown, and a brother Robert E. Mosley.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville where A Homecoming Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 with Rev. Berta Newsome-Jones, Pastor of United Faith Fellowship Church, officiating.
Interment with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006 will take place in Greendale Cemetery.
