William Walter Titus

William Walter Titus, 59, of 18798 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at Meadville Medical Center.
William was born in Titusville on May 30, 1952, a son of the late Earl and Erma (Langworthy) Titus.
On December 17, 1977, William married Rebecca A. Fleming; she survives.
He was affiliated with Saegertown United Methodist Church, Saegertown.
Over the years William had been employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Dads Dog Food, both of Meadville, James Properties of Edinboro and Penncrest School District. He was a 1971 graduate of Townville High School where he excelled in athletics especially volleyball, and also played football and baseball. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the shore. William was known for being a good neighbor to everyone and for enjoying life on a daily basis.
In addition to his wife, Rebecca of 34 years, William is survived by two sons Benjamin William Titus and his wife Kristin of Hillsborough, NC, Edward Lloyd Fleming Titus of Chicago, IL, two sisters Evelyn McIver of Titusville, Lois DeGroot and her husband Robert of Dundas, MN, two brothers James L. Titus and his wife Jane, Edward Titus and his wife Carina both of Titusville, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father Earl Titus and his mother Erma Langworthy Titus Carpenter, William was preceded in death by his step father Lloyd Carpenter, four brothers Charles, Earl Richard, Lloyd and Ronald Titus.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 11-1 at Saegertown United Methodist Church, 620 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joseph C. Rial officiating.
