Winifred "Doll" Elizabeth Ketcham, 83, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Marquette Hospice House.
Winifred was born in Ludlow, on May 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Carl and Geneva (Anderson) Larson.
On March 30, 1957 Winifred married Charles Edward Ketchan, Jr.; he preceded her in death on April 17, 2010.
She was a faithful member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Meadville, where for many years she was responsible for cleaning the church.
Winifred enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a 1954 graduate of Saegertown High School and furthered her education by attending Slippery Rock University. Her hobbies and interests were diverse, from oil painting to four wheeling. She rode and owned her own four wheeler well into her 80's. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren. She will be missed.
Winifred is survived by seven children September Yourowski (Jay) of Okala, FL, Timothy Ketcham (Lola) of Meadville, Joseph Ketcham (Alice) of Scottown, OH, Michael Ketcham (Shannon) Columbia, SC, Jeffrey Ketcham (Meredith) of Pittseville, Shannon Feist (Robert) of Westfield, IN, Amy Ketcham of Idaho, 83 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, three sisters Doris Allewalt of Vineland, NJ, Janice Schultz (Augie) of Westfield, NY, Linda Wagner (Gary) of Cochranton, a brother Laverne Larson (Anna) of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Charles, of 53 years, Winifred was preceded in death by a son David Ketcham, a grandson Nicholas Ketcham, a sister Connie Pegan and a brother Theodore Larson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 597 Park Ave. Extension, Meadville, with Bishop Michael Welter officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
